ISSP participates in many projects of the European Union and NATO, as well as in joint projects with universities and research institutes in Germany, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Netherlands, France, UK, Australia, USA etc. Scientists from the Institute perform successfully their investigations in the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Forschungszentrum Rossendorf and the International Laboratory of High Magnetic Fields and Low Temperatures in Wroclaw.
ISSP is included in the List approved by the European Commission Erasmus University Charter 2004/2005 – 2006/2007. Every second year since 1980, the Institute organizes at the Black Sea coast an International school-symposium on contemporary problems in condensed matter physics (ISCMP).
